Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar, MBBS., MS., Ex MLC, is the Founder and Managing Trustee of Sri Shridevi Charitable
Trust, Tumakuru. He is a General Surgeon by profession and a philanthropist with vast administrative and
professional experience. Anticipating a rising demand for skilled professionals across diverse fields, Sri
Shridevi Charitable Trust was established in 1992. The primary objective was to create opportunities for higher
education, enabling dedicated and motivated students to actualize their aspirations and equip themselves for the
challenges of the world.

With his great vision and passion towards providing quality education, Shridevi Group of Educational
Institutions are established and are offering education from primary to higher education including professional
education. In addition, under his mentorship, the Trust has rendered the service to the society in the fields of
Education and Healthcare by establishing Hospitals and Colleges with the mission of imparting the quality
service to all sections of the society. The success is attributed because of Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar’s down-to-earth
approach, ensuring a positive impact on the community and fulfilling an overarching goal of providing
accessible and topnotch education to aspiring individuals.

He was a Member of Legislative Council, Karnataka during 2009-2015 and has served the society as a
successful politician. At Present, he is also associated with various social organizations and is a household name
in Tumakuru and Karnataka State. He is the epitome of knowledge and is known for his commitment and zeal to
